Christmassy Day Out

To get the festive season in full swing, the family and I went into central London for a Christmassy trip. We battled with the rain, wind, puddles and excessive crowds but still managed to have a great day out.

To start the day we decided to finish off some last minute Christmas shopping at Selfridge’s department store. I couldn’t help but stop to take some photos of the stunning window displays.

The entire department store is decorated with pretty lights and large hanging baubles. It’s impossible to not feel the Christmas spirit inside.

Armed with umbrellas, we ventured to Liberty department store for more gifts. Once inside I admired the beautiful, traditional Tudor like building.

All the shopping and miserable weather meant we were in need of a sweet treat. Just off Carnaby Street we found a chocolate addicts dream at Choccywoccydoodah. A store and cafe that focuses on all things chocolate related. To those with a sweet tooth it’s pure heaven.

Chocolate sculptures layered the store and looked like really tasty works of art.

Surrounded by mouth-watering goodies it was hard to control myself, I tried to focus on the frilly lampshades hanging from above.

The temptation was too much so we decided to check out Choccywoccydoodah’s menu.
