I never knew it was possible to eat 30+ pieces of sushi until I spent an evening at Designspace. In my defence I’ve never had the culinary geniuses from Nobu hand carve my fishy treats right in front of me.
Yes – an offer I’d be a fool to refuse.
The girls and I headed over to the launch of Designspace’s new showroom on Wigmore Street. We explored the beautifully crafted showroom just off Bond Street for the evening.
The seamless kitchens mix contemporary and functional design solutions. We had a nose around through the cupboards and sliding systems, all in agreement that our own kitchens would be as organised if we owned one of these beauties.
The Wigmore Street showroom is vastly displayed with mainly Modulnova and Schiffini designs. The impressive space promotes the latest materials, technologies represented through Italian living.
I admired the quirky light fittings made of bottles and joined in the centre with a lemon juicer.
Amongst the slick architectural kitchens we sipped on prosecco and chatted away.
We watched the sushi chefs master their technique, as they produced delicate and divine mouthfuls.
We enjoyed endless amounts of delicious sushi and fusion canapés.
My sweet tooth kicked in and I tucked into glittery chocolate delights and pistachio macaroons. Nom nom nom.
