Morning meetings definitely are the best way to start a working day. I love beginning the day surrounded by inspiring interiors whilst nibbling on warm croissants and freshly squeezed juice.
I find the day begins full of positive vibes soaking in the stunning designs leaving one eager to get back to the office and implement the exciting finds into upcoming projects.
One of my absolute favourite showrooms is Soane Britain, as I’m sure you’ve noticed on my Instagram as I am constantly sharing pics.
Soane is one of Britain’s best designers their pieces are crafted superbly with every single element obviously being made in Britain. The level of detail that goes into the furniture and lighting is clearly evident in the quality of the finished products.
On a recent morning I visited the showroom, which was bursting with beautiful bright colours in anticipation for the spring season. Rattan chairs were upholstered in red tulip fabrics with funky pineapple wallpaper becoming a breezy backdrop.
Bar goals were taken to whole new level with this on point bar trolley, equipped with colour coordinated mixers and straws. Dreamy.
Something about the showroom has an excitable energy but also allows the space to feel very homily as you wonder through it is almost like you are snooping through a loved ones very decadent home.
Fresh flowers brought an added touch of spring into the Pimlico showroom, bringing the inviting space to life with beautiful blooms.
Soane have some of the most stunning patterned fabrics that I always squeeze into projects.
They have a great selection of leathers available for many of their pieces too.
I stepped into the rosy red drawing room set-up; I adore how the space has been transformed into such a warm inviting zone.
A red leather chesterfield sofa took centre stage, accompanied with sumptuous leather upholstered ottoman with brass rod legs that is simply stunning.
The Crillon Ottoman was inspired by French mid 20th century designs and was produced in Dorset with its hand-stitched leather.
Considering I am not a lover of red at all there’s something special about how the mix of antiques and blue tones brings the space to life and still ticks all the boxes.
Onto the collection of mirrors in all shapes and sizes.
More berry red accents filled the showroom space a colour that I wouldn’t associate with spring but cleverly adds vibrancy to the pieces.
The table caught my eye as it has such stunning detailing with brass clasps creating a jewel like touch.
The charming wallpapers are hand blocked with exquisite patterns [insert heart eye emoiji.]
One of the real winners is this stool in banging electric blue. Each leg is hand-forged with twisted metal; this beauty would bring any bar to life.
Obsessed with this gorgeous antiqued lantern that I need to find a happy home to fit this into.
A wonderful wall wired up with heaps of wall lights to choose from.
Poles plastered with fabrics new and old to peruse through. Naturally I made sure I left with a stacked sample bag of all the new collection numbers.
One of my favourite corners was the window display mainly as I’m lusting after all things blue at the moment.
The stunning tapestry looked incredible hanging accompanied with an elegantly curved chair.

Lastly but not least my ultimate favourite piece the Owl Lantern, which I’ve shared many times before, but this stunner deserves as much credit as she can get.
Buzzing with my injection of inspiration I headed off daydreaming of lush textiles, spring blooms and beautifying interiors of course.
