On a super summery evening, I headed to Chelsea Physic Garden for Fox Linton’s annual summer party.
Without doubt it is one of the parties not to miss, as the evening is spent indulging in nibbles and flowing champagne in such a stunning setting.
Fox Linton is an incredibly well known fabric supplier with a lovely showroom at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre. Plus the interiors team are key players in the industry as Fox Linton Associates have designed countless high-end hotels and well-recognised residential projects.
Before I got too carried away I had a quick peep in at the glasshouse that holds a collection of tropical species.
To celebrate the sunny period Fox Linton host a party for all their clients in the beautiful grounds, surrounded by edible, medicinal and of course striking plants and flowers. The garden was founded in 1673 and is the oldest botanic garden in London, with an incredible collection of 5,000 different plants.
Not only is it the busiest party of the season, but also there are so many friendly faces you can barely step a metre without bumping into someone you know and stopping for a catch up. Inevitably I got sidetracked hence why the majority of my photos represent moody evening shots of the garden.
The grounds are really elegant and provide a tranquil spot away from the buzzing Chelsea streets and contrasted with the buildings in the distance.
We sipped on summery concoctions enjoying the surrounding space until darkness fell.
It’s well worth visiting the gardens or popping for lunch at the café terrace, I’m adamant to squeeze a trip in before summer is over and explore properly in daylight!
