Mother’s Day seems to have come out of nowhere this year. Spring is starting to finally bloom it seems like the perfect excuse to pick a beautiful bunch of fresh blooms and bake some delicious treats.
One thing my mum is completely in love with is afternoon tea, so the siblings and I decided instead of trekking into London we’d whip on our aprons and rustle up a homemade selection.
I secretly also wanted an excuse to finally use this floral teapot.
We started baking homemade scones and brownies.
We set the table with a stunning china tea set; piled fresh finger sandwiches and the selection of treats on the cake stand ready to dig in.
